Why brake lights?Broken brake lights are among the most common reasons for police stops. Any police stop can result in expensive fines, harassment, or arrest. For black and brown people and those without papers, a police stop poses a distinct threat. By fixing brake lights for free, we aim to take a direct action to protect one another from harassment, deportation, or violence at the hands of the police.
